Election Procedures:
a) The President of the Association shall appoint a Nominating Committee consisting of   five (5)   members of IHMC and IHMCAA of who at least three (3) are past presidents of the IHMCAA or currently members of the IHMCAA Board of Directors. The chair shall be the incumbent Sister Moderator of the IHMCAA. The committee shall be selected a minimum of six (6) weeks prior to the date of the annual meeting of the Association held during the annual homecoming.
b)  The Executive Board provides the Nominating Committee the list of names of all Members of the Board qualified to vote before the election takes place.
c) The chairperson of the Nominating Committee preside the election at the annual meeting of the Association. The Members of the Board who are present shall elect the new officers.

d)    A roll call of all Members of the Board comprising of one (1) representative from each Batch will officially start the election process to be presided by the Nominating Committee Chairperson at which time nominations from the floor will be opened, and the election shall proceed.

e)  Members of the Board shall nominate ANY bona fide alumni who they deem are qualified to run for office and should be PRESENT upon nomination.  Officers to be nominated are President, Vice President, Secretary; Assistant Secretary; Treasurer, Auditor, Business Manager and Public Relations Officer.    Officers who have served one (1) term may be nominated for an additional one (1) term.

f)  Members of the Board will cast their votes through ballot after all nominees have been presented.

g) The Chairperson will officially close the election proceeding after all Members of the Board have submitted their votes.

h) The Nominating Committee will take charge in the ballot counting.  Nominees elected by a majority vote will be announced thereafter.

i)  Turn-over Ceremony of the immediate past officers to the newly elected officers and Oath of Office will take place during the Homecoming Grand Night Presentation. 
j)  The term of office shall officially begin on March 1, of each year, or as otherwise determined by the Board of Directors.

Qualifications:  In order to qualify as an officer of the Association, the candidate must be a bona fide alumnus and must be a member of the Board.

 Alumni Officers:   Any member of the Board may run for office and be elected to the eight (8) slots of the Executive Board during the designated election date.  The Immediate Past President (IPP) of the Executive Board shall complete the nine (9) member composition of the said Board as Ex-oficio member who shall have no voting rights.

All officers except the Immediate Past President shall be elected by a majority vote of the Members of the Board present.
